Gorges du Verdon. If you have time on your trip, it’s worth taking a day trip to Gorges du Verdon. The gorge is one of the biggest in Europe and is one of the most amazing natural experiences in France. Hire a paddleboat, kayak, or motorboat and paddle along the water to reach the beautiful waterfall.

Marseille is the 2nd largest French city and major Mediterranean port. There are many things to see, including the Chateau d’If (where the Count of Montecristo is based) and the Notre Dame de la Garde basilica.
